Q1 2021 Ultracasual Games Performance on iOS in Europe: Sensor Tower Insights

As the first quarter of 2021 wraps up, Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of the ultracasual gaming scene on iOS in Europe. Here's how the top contenders performed.

Acrylic Nails! by Crazy Labs saw a downward trend in downloads, starting at 342K in the last week of December and sliding to 62K by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this decline, dropping from 570K to 189K in the same period.

The new entrant, Jelly Dye：Satisfying ASMR Game by AI Games FZ, had an impressive start with downloads skyrocketing from 280 in its launch week to 227K in the second week of February before settling at 92K by March's end. Active users peaked at 441K mid-February and then tapered off to 188K.

Perfect Wax 3D: ASMR Makeover, also from AI Games FZ, experienced a surge in downloads in late January, hitting 210K, but saw a gradual decrease to 26K by the close of Q1. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, peaking at 244K and falling to 39K.

Slime Simulator Fluid Games by Marrisa Wei had a remarkable revenue journey, starting at $5K in late December and climbing to $47K by the end of March. Downloads reached a high of 158K in mid-February but dipped to 35K by the quarter's end, while active users saw a high of 83K that later dropped to 39K.

Lastly, Diamond Painting ASMR Coloring by Crazy Labs began with zero revenue but saw an increase to $640 by March's last week. Downloads witnessed a decrease from 141K in late December to roughly 20K by March 29, and weekly active users dropped from 182K to 44K.
